A flavorful and satisfying Pakistani street food style burger made with a crispy shami kabab with fried egg and refreshing topping . Perfect for a quick and easy meal.

Ingredients
For Shami Kababs:
  • 1/2 kg Beef Boneless
  • 2 Medium size Onion roughly chopped
  • 16 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 20 Button red chilies
  • 3 glasses Water
  • 1 cup Gram lentils soaked
  • 1 tsp Salt
Remaining Masala:
  • 1 Chopped onion
  • 1 tsp All spice powder
  • 2 tsp ginger finely chopped
  • 4 fresh Green Chilies
  • 1 bunch Coriander chopped
  • 1 bunch Mint leaves chopped
For Burger:
  • 4 Shami kabab
  • 5 Eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 Tomato slices
  • 4 tbsp Tamarind sauce
  • 4 tbsp Mayo garlic sauce
  • 1 onion cut into rings
  • 1 cup cabbage grated
  • 1 Cucumber sliced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Hot sauce for buns
  • Ketchup for buns
  • Oil or butter for frying
Cooking Method
To Make the Shami Kababs:
  1. In a deep heavy vessel, put all the boiling ingredients and cook on medium low flame, till meat is done.
  2. After flame off, add onions, garam masala powder, ginger, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and green chilies. Mix well then make kababs.
To Assemble The Burgers:
  1. Beat all the eggs well in a bowl with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and drip shami kababs in egg and fry for few minutes or until golden and crispy from both sides.
  3. Make omelets of the remaining eggs.
  4. Make four omelets, one for each bun.
  5. Add grated onion and cabbage to the mayo garlic dip. Mix well.
  6. Heat the inner and outer sides of both the pieces of all the buns with a little oil in a pan.
  7. Spread ketchup evenly to the inner sides of both the pieces of the bun.
  8. Put a shami Kabab on a bun piece, followed by the mayo garlic dip.
  9. Then add an omelet, followed by the tamarind sauce.
  10. On the other piece, put tomato and cucumber slice with a pinch of salt and black pepper, followed by the hot sauce.
  11. Put this bun piece on the other one. Repeat with the other three buns.
  12. Heat them in a pan on a low flame.
  13. Place in a serving platter. Delicious Anda Shami Burger is ready to serve.
