Ingredients
  • ½ kg Fish fillet
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • ½ tsp White pepper powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp Mustard paste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
Cooking Method

  1. Wash fish fillets with water.

  2. Marinate fish fillets with salt, lemon juice, white pepper, black pepper powder, mustard paste, garlic paste, flour and oil.

  3. Shallow fry the marinated fish with a little oil till it turns golden brown.
  4. In a separate pan, heat 2 tbsp oil, add flour and fry well for 1 – 2 minutes.

  5. Now add chili powder and salt. stir well.

  6. Then add ½ cup of water, cook till sauce is thickened, add in 1 tbsp mustard paste, 2 tbsp vinegar and 1 tsp sugar.

  7. Put the fried fish in a serving platter, top with mustard sauce.

  8. Fish Steak with Mustard Sauce is ready to serve. ENJOY!
