Ingredients
  • 8 bread slices
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp blueberry pie filling
  • 3 tbsp fine sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • honey to serve
  • Oil for shallow frying
Cooking Method
  1. In a bowl beat 2 eggs with sugar.
  2. Stir in vanilla essence.
  3. Add milk and mix well.
  4. Spread blueberry pie filling on a bread slice.
  5. Top with second slice.
  6. Dip in egg mixture.
  7. Heat oil in a shallow frying pan.
  8. Shallow fry on each sides for 2 minutes or until light golden.
  9. Remove from the oil.
  10. Drizzle honey on top.
  11. French Toast with Blueberries are ready to serve.
