Ingredients
1/2kgblack chick peasboiled
1/2cupoil
1onionfinely chopped
3 tomatoesfinely chopped
6green chiliesfinely chopped
1/2bunch coriander leavesfinely chopped
1tbspginger garlic paste
1tbspcoriander seeds
2tspred chili powder
2tspcoriander powder
2tspcumin powder
2tspfennel seeds
1tspturmeric powder
1tsphot spices powder
1/2tspcarom seeds
1tspsalt
Cooking Method
Heat oil in a pan or a deep skillet.
Fry chopped onion for 4-5 minutes or golden brown.
Now blend brown onion with tomatoes until smooth.
Take it out in a bowl.
In the remaining oil, add tomato onion paste, red chili powder, salt,turmeric, coriander powder and ginger garlic paste.
Cook for 5-8 minutes then add boiled chickpeas.
Mix well.
Grind together cumin seeds, whole coriander, fennel seeds and carom seeds.
Add green chilies, coriander leaves, hot spices powder and fried masala in chick peas.
