Ingredients
  • 1 kg Boneless Fish
  • 2 Onions
  • 10 Green Chilies
  • ½ bunch Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds
  • ½ cup Oil
  • ½ bunch Curry Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 3 tbsp Lemon Juice
Cooking Method
  1. Place fish in a bowl. Add lemon juice, red chili powder, salt and garlic. Marinate it for 30 minutes to blend flavors.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  3. Fry fish on high flame for 5 minutes.
  4. Now fry the onion in another pot.
  5. Add red chili powder, cumin, coriander, and carom seeds to the fried onions.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Add 2 cups water and cook for a while.
  8. Lastly add fried fish, curry leaves, ginger, and lemon juice.
  9. Machli ka Salan is ready to serve.
