Ingredients
For Peri Peri Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp Onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • ¼ cup Vinegar
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 3 tbsp Red chili crushed
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
For Chicken Topping:
  • 1 cup Chicken boneless cubes
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Salt as required
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • few drops Food color (optional
For Pizza Dough:
  • 500 gm Flour
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Bread improver
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Water as required
To Prepare Pizza:
  • 1 Pizza dough
  • Peri Peri sauce as required
  • Chicken topping as required
  • Cheese as required mozzarella, cheddar, etc.
  • Capsicum julienned as required
  • Onion julienned as required
  • Tomato julienned as required
  • Olives as required
Cooking Method
To Prepare the Peri Peri Sauce:
  1. Combine onion, garlic, oil, vinegar, water, crushed red chili, salt, and black pepper in a blender.
  2. Blend until a thick paste forms.
  3. Transfer the paste to a bowl and mix in the mayonnaise.
Prepare Chicken Topping:
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken cubes, garlic paste, oil, vinegar, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, and food color (if using).
  2. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and fry until cooked through.
Prepare Pizza Dough:
  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, sugar, bread improver, and egg.
  2. Add butter and gradually add water while kneading until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Knead for several minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  4. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Form the dough into a ball, roll it out, and place it on a greased pizza pan.
  6. Allow the dough to rise until it doubles in size.
  7. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Half-bake the pizza base for 4-5 minutes.
Assembling and Baking the Pizza:
  1. Remove the partially baked pizza base from the oven.
  2. Spread the peri peri sauce over the base.
  3. Add the cooked chicken topping.
  4. Sprinkle cheese over the chicken.
  5. Arrange capsicum, onion, tomato, and olives on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  7. Brush the crust with butter or oil before slicing.
  8. Slice and serve hot.
