Ingredients
300gm Boneless chickencut into cubes
2tbspTomato ketchup
2tbspChili sauce
½tspBlack pepper
1tbspLemon juice
½tspSalt
1tspPaprika
½cupOil
Skewers as required
2Capsicumscut into cubes
2Tomatoescut into cubes
2Onionscut into cubes
Cooking Method
Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, combine tomato ketchup, chili sauce, black pepper, lemon juice, salt, and paprika.
Mix well to create a homogeneous marinade.
Marinate the Chicken:
Add the boneless chicken to the marinade and coat it evenly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or preferably for an hour, to allow the flavors to penetrate the chicken.
Assemble the Skewers:
Take the marinated chicken and thread it onto the skewers, alternating with the capsicum, tomato, and onion cubes.
Make sure the skewers are evenly loaded.
Cook the Skewers:
Heat oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Carefully place the assembled skewers onto the hot pan. Cover the pan and cook for about 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
Flip the skewers halfway through cooking to ensure even browning.
Serve Hot:
Once the skewers are cooked, remove them from the pan and serve immediately while they are hot and sizzling.
