Barfi is eaten and given in Asia on festivals. It’s usually bought from confectioner. But in some houses people still prefer to make barfi at home rather buying from shops.   • 4 bread slices
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • 250 gm sugar
  • 50 gm pistachios chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp kewra water
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Cooking Method
  1. Soak bread slices in milk for 2 hours.
  2. Place soak bread slices in a blender.
  3. Blend well until smooth.
  4. Take it out in a pan.
  5. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes or until all water dries up.
  6. Keep stirring.
  7. Add sugar, ground cardamoms and kewra water.
  8. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes then add crumbled khoya.
  9. Grease a dish or tray with butter.
  10. Spread bread mixture on it.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  12. Take it out from the oven.
  13. Cut into squares.
  14. Sprinkle pistachios over it.
  15. Bread barfi is ready to serve.
