Ingredients
  • 4 bread slices
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 1 kg milk
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/2 cup boiled rice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp pistachios
  • 2 tbsp almonds crushed
  • 2 sliver papers
Cooking Method
  1. Cut bread slices into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry bread slices for 3-4 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  3. Remove from the oil and drain on a tissue paper.
  4. Boil milk in a heavy bottom skillet or deep pan.
  5. Add boiled rice and fried bread in it.
  6. Cook on low heat for 30 minutes or until milk turn to thicken.
  7. Now add sugar and increase flames.
  8. Add cardamom powder, condensed milk, milk powder.
  9. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until done.
  10. Take it out in a serving dish.
  11. Sprinkle almonds and pistachios over it.
  12. Garnish with silver paper.
  13. Bread Kheer is ready to serve.
  14. Enjoy!
