For Mustard Chicken:
  • 1 kg chicken cut into 8 pieces
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp mustard paste
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For Coating:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • cold water as required
  • oil for frying
Cooking Method
  1. Soak chicken pieces in vinegar and salt.
  2. Leave it for whole night.
  3. Sieve it.
  4. Marinate chicken with mustard paste and black pepper.
  5. In a bowl, combine together plain flour, rice flour, beaten eggs, salt, black pepper and cold water.
  6. Make a thick and smooth paste.
  7. Dip chicken piece in this batter.
  8. Then roll in bread crumbs.
  9. Turn to coat evenly.
  10. Deep fry chicken in hot oil for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Chicken Mustard Broast is ready to serve.
