Are you a fan of Kashmiri Chai? Then try this Kashmiri Chaye Recipe By Shireen Anwar, a special pink-colored tea which has a creamy, buttery and slightly thick consistency, but is thin enough to sip gently.

  • 2 cups Water
  • a pinch of Soda
  • 1 liter Fresh milk
  • 2 cups Chilled water
  • 4 Green cardamom
  • few Almond & Pistachioas sliced
  • Sugar as required
  • 2 tsp Kashmiri tea leaves
  • ¼ tsp Salt
Cooking Method
  1. Cook 2 cups of water with salt and green cardamoms for few minutes or until it start boiling.
  2. Now add 2 Kashmiri tea leaves and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Now add a pinch of soda with 2 cups of chilled water.
  4. Keep pouring from one pan to another or until pink color comes out.
  5. Now strain the tea, add fresh milk.
  6. Again cook with sugar, sliced almond and pistachio as required.
  7. Cook for 15 minutes then pour into serving cups.
  8. Kashmiri Chaye is ready to serve.
