Ingredients
For Roti:
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 pinch of Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
For Paste:
  • 1 cup Gram flour
  • 1 tsp Crushed cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek leaves
  • ½ tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
  • 4 tbsp Talhar chili paste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Method
To make Roti:
  1. In a bowl, mix togethe the flour, sugar, baking soda, olive oil and some salt.
  2. Knead the dough with water as required.
To make the Paste
  1. Take 1 cup gram flour, 4 tbsp talhar chili paste, 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds, 1 tsp crushed cumin seeds, 1 tsp fenugreek leaves, ½ tsp turmeric and some salt grind everything together and make a smooth paste.

To make The Qatlma:
  1. Roll the roti and spread the paste on them and deep fry them for 5-8 minutes on medium heat or until crisp and golden.
  2. Remove from the oil and drain on paper.
  3. Delicious Katlma is ready to serve.
