Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup oil or butter
  • 2 onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds roasted
  • 1 tsp hot spices powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp mace powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
For Garnishing:
  • 4 green chilies thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
Cooking Method
  1. Heat  oil in a pan or deep skillet.
  2. Add chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
  3. Remove fried onions from the oil drain on paper towel.
  4. Then crush fried onions with your hands.
  5. Put crushed onions into plain yogurt.
  6. Mix well and set aside.
  7. Now place chicken wings into oil, cook for 10 minutes or until no longer pink.
  8. Then add  ginger garlic paste, cardamoms, cumin seeds, hot spices powder, mace, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder.
  9. Cook and stir  for 2 minutes.
  10. Then add mixed yogurt.
  11. Reduce heat to low.
  12. Cover the pan with a lid  and let allow it to simmer for 20 minutes.
  13. Add a cup of water and cook for 5 minutes.
  14. Garnish with green chilies and fresh coriander leaves.
  15. Take it out in a serving bowl.
  16. Masala Wings Gravy is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve with naan, chapati or rice.
