Ingredients
  • 1 kg Mutton
  • 2 Onions chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Roasted crushed cumin
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 piece Ginger thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 -3 tbsp Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, mutton and ginger garlic paste.
  3. Cook and stir fry few minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
  4. Now add coriander powder, turmeric, cumin seeds, chili powder, salt and 1 glass of water.
  5. Cover with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  6. Remove the lid and turn the flame on high.
  7. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until all water dries up.
  8. Mix wheat flour in ½ cup water and add to the wok, cook until gravy thickened.
  9. Sprinkle roasted crushed cumin and ginger slices over top.
  10. Dish it out.
  11. Delicious Mutton Chiniotti is ready to serve.
