Ingredients
  • 500 gm undercut beef
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 green bell peppers thinly sliced
  • 10 green chilies thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Cooking Method
  1. Wash beef and remove all excess fat.
  2. Then cut into thin strips.
  3. Place beef strips in a bowl.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Then add sesame oil and marinate for a night.
  6. Heat oil in a deep skillet, add garlic.
  7. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
  8. Then put the marinated beef and cook for 4-5 minutes or until juice runs clear.
  9. Add chicken broth.
  10. Bring to a boil and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until beef is tender.
  11. Dissolve cornflour in water.
  12. Pour this paste in it and cook for 2 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  13. Add tomato ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, green chilies and capsicum.
  14. Stir well and cook for 2 minutes.
  15. Turn the heat off.
  16. Transfer into a serving plate.
  17. Beef Chili with Red Sauce is ready to serve.
