Ingredients
6Pita Bread
For Chicken Filling:
500gm boneless Chicken
3-4garlic cloves
½cupPlain Yogurt
2tbspVinegar
2tbspBBQ masala
1tbspLemon Juice
1tspCrushed black pepper
Oil as required
Salt to taste
For Salad:
1Tomatosliced
1Cucumbersliced
3-4salad leaves
2-3tbspolive oil
2green chiliessliced
Cucumber pickle
Cooking Method
To Prepare the Chicken Shawarma Filling:
Cut chicken into slices.
Heat some oil in a pan and add chicken slices along with garlic.
Fry them and then add yogurt, vinegar, lemon juice, salt and tikka masala.
Keep on frying for 8-10 minutes or until all water dries up.
Remove from the heat and Keep aside.
To Prepare the Salad:
Slice tomatoes and cucumber, salad leaves and put them in a bowl.
Add olive oil, green chilies and cucumber pickle.
To Prepare the Shawarma:
Now grease a pan, and toast pita breads.
Open the pita bread and fill in chicken mixture, sauce, olives and salad.
