  • 6 Pita Bread
For Chicken Filling:
  • 500 gm boneless Chicken
  • 3-4 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp BBQ masala
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Crushed black pepper
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste
For Salad:
  • 1 Tomato sliced
  • 1 Cucumber sliced
  • 3-4 salad leaves
  • 2-3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green chilies sliced
  • Cucumber pickle
Cooking Method
To Prepare the Chicken Shawarma Filling:
  1. Cut chicken into slices.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan and add chicken slices along with garlic.
  3. Fry them and then add yogurt, vinegar, lemon juice, salt and tikka masala.
  4. Keep on frying for 8-10 minutes or until all water dries up.
  5. Remove from the heat and Keep aside.
To Prepare the Salad:
  1. Slice tomatoes and cucumber, salad leaves and put them in a bowl.
  2. Add olive oil, green chilies and cucumber pickle.
To Prepare the Shawarma:
  1. Now grease a pan, and toast pita breads.
  2. Open the pita bread and fill in chicken mixture, sauce, olives and salad.
  3. Delicious Chicken Shawarma is ready to serve.
