A simple Fish Pulao Recipe by Abida Baloch, bursting with the flavors of whole and ground spices, tomatoes, soya, fragrant basmati rice and fresh fish. Serve with Fresh salad.

Ingredients
1/2kgFish
2Onionsfried
3Tomatoeschopped
1-½tbspRed chili powder
1-1/2tbspCoriander powder
1tspTurmeric powder
4-5Green chilies
1bunch Soya
1tbspGinger garlic
1tbspWhole all spice
2cupsRice
Salt to taste
Pomace olive oil as required
Cooking Method
Heat the olive oil add whole spices when splutter add tomatoes along with fried onion, turmeric powder, coriander powder, green chilies, salt, ginger garlic.
Cook for 4-5 minutes or until a distinct aroma arises and oil comes on top.
Now add the fish pieces.
Stir gently so as not to break the pieces.
Simmer over low heat for 7-10 minutes or until done.
Take out the fish from gravy and keep aside.
Add water for rice when it starts boiling add rice and cook when water evaporates add soya, green chilies and put on medium low flame for about 10 minutes or until rice is fluffed.
