In a bowl, beat together 4 eggs and 250 gm sugar.

Then add 100 gm butter, 1 tbsp baking powder and 250 gm flour.

Fold very well.

Now add 1 tsp lemon skin and few drops of vanilla essence.

Now pour mixture in a greased lined cake mold.

Bake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

Heat milk in a pan, add 125 gm sugar and 4-5 tbsp custard powder.

Cook till custard thickens.

Pour on cake in mold.

Sprinkle 1 tsp lemon skin on top.

Freeze till firm.

Then remove from refrigerator.

Delicious Lemon Cake is ready to serve.
