Ingredients
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3-4 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • 1 chopped celery stick
  • 300 grams beef mince
  • 2 boiled tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ½ cup red grape juice
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • ½ packet boiled spaghetti
  • Chopped parsley as required
Cooking Method
  1. In a large skillet, sauté onion and brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and Italian sausage. Mix well and simmer over medium-low heat for at least one hour. For optimal flavor, consider simmering the sauce all day.

  3. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for 8-10 minutes or until al dente. Drain.

  4. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the simmered sauce.

  5. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
