This simple Chicken Patties Recipe By Shireen Anwar, will take you back to the Desi chicken patties you used to get from the corner Pakistani bakery. Crisp & flaky puff golden pastry filled with shredded chicken in a creamy white sauce.

Ingredients
  • 1 kg puff pastry
  • 1 cup boiled chicken shredded
  • 1/2 Chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard powder
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and stir fry for 1-2 minutes then add chicken stock and mix well.
  3. Now add the shredded chicken, white pepper, salt, mustard powder and cook for 4-5 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  4. Remove from the heat and let it cool completely.
  5. Roll the puff pastry in rectangular shape and with the help of cutter.
  6. Cut in round shape.
  7. Dip the 2 pieces in water and in the middle of one piece place the chicken filling and spread the egg in all the four corners.
  8. Then set the other part of the cross on top of it and press it lightly.
  9. Bake chicken patties in ungreased tray for 35 to 40 minutes in 250 c in oven.
  10. Delicious Chicken Patties are ready to serve.
