These fish fingers are made by marinating fish pieces/strips into a batter prepared using all purpose gram flour, vinegar, spices and your favorite dry mango powder. Give it a try!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 kg Finger fish
  • ½ cup White vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic ground
  • 1-1/4 tsp Salt
  • ¾ cup Gram flour
  • 2 tbsp Mustard oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • ¾ tsp Turmeric
  • Oil for fry
  • 2 pinches Baking Soda
Ingredients For Masala:
  • 1 tbsp Dried Mango powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried mint
  • ½ tsp Fennel powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
Cooking Method
  1. Add finger fish in vinegar and leave it for 30 minutes.
  2. Now add salt, ginger garlic paste, carom, green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric, gram flour, flour rice, soda and sesame oil.
  3. Mix until well coated.
  4. Marinate for 1 hour to blend flavors.
  5. Deep fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
  6. Remove from the oil and take it out in a serving platter.
To Prepare the masala:
  1. Blend all the ingredients well and add on fish.
  2. Delicious Fried Finger Fish is ready to serve.
