Ingredients
For Dough:
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Paste for Paratha:
  • 1/4 cup ghee or butter melted
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp flour
Cooking Method
For Paste
  1. In a bowl, combine together melted ghee, egg white and flour.
  2. Make a thick paste of it. Keep aside.

For Paratha:
  1. Sieve flour in a large bowl.
  2. Add salt and knead a soft dough by using water.
  3. Apply ghee over the dough.
  4. Cover with wet cotton cloth.
  5. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  6. Make 8 balls out of the dough.
  7. Take 1 ball spread slightly.
  8. Apply prepared paste on it.
  9. Re-roll and form into square.
  10. Now again make a ball, apply melted ghee on each ball.
  11. Cover with a wet cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes.
  12. Heat ghee or oil in a wok or deep pan.
  13. Make thin paratha and deep fry for 2 minutes or until light golden.
  14. Puri Paratha is ready to serve.
