Tips and Tricks for Perfect Baked Drumsticks:

  • Marinating: For deeper flavor, marinate the drumsticks with the spice blend for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  • Crispy Skin: Ensure the drumsticks are dry before adding the oil. This helps achieve extra crispy skin.
  • Even Cooking: Place the drumsticks in a single layer on the baking sheet to ensure even cooking.
  • Oven Temperature: Ensure your oven is properly preheated. An inaccurate oven temperature can affect the cooking time and results.
  • Thread: Using the thread is very helpful to maintain the shape of the drumsticks.

Other Variations:

  • Honey Garlic: Add honey and minced garlic to the sauce for a sweet and savory twist.
  • Spicy Buffalo: Toss the baked drumsticks in a buffalo sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Lemon Herb: Add lemon juice and your favorite herbs (like rosemary or thyme) for a refreshing flavor.
  • BBQ: Use your favorite BBQ sauce to coat the drumsticks.
