  • 200 gm clarified butter or desi ghee
  • 200 gm wheat flour
  • 200 gm gur
  • 50 gm gum or gond
  • 50 gm poppy seeds
  • 2 tablespoon coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seed powder
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
For Granishing:
  • 2 tablespoon pistachios
  • 2 tablespoon chopped almonds
Cooking Method
  1. Heat 100 gm ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry gum until crispy.
  3. Now chop in chopper.
  4. Heat remaining ghee in the same pan.
  5. Add wheat flour and cook for 10 minutes until changes colour and give aroma.
  6. Stir in the chopped gum, poppy seed, gur, fennel seed, cardamom powder and coconut.
  7. Add half of the almonds and pistachios.Mix well.
  8. Remove from the stove.
  9. Transfer into a dish.
  10. Garnish with remaining almonds, and pistachio.
  11. Sprinkle coconut over it.
  12. Let it cool for few minutes or until set.
  13. Cut into square pieces.
  14. Gur Papri is ready to serve. ENJOY!!
