  • 500 gm fish fillets
  • 4 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • 4 tbsp chopped onion
  • 4 tbsp chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp tomato puree
  • 3 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
Cooking Method
  1. Rinse and drain fish.
  2. Shallow fry fish fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side or until all juices runs clear and no longer pink.
  3. Heat oil in a pan or deep skillet.
  4. Saute onion in it.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes or until soft.
  6. Add capsicum and fry for further 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add Chilli sauce, 1/4th cup water, vinegar and tomato puree.
  8. Cook on low flame for 5 minutes then add dry fenugreek leaves, salt, sugar and fried fish fillets.
  9. Cook for 5 minutes or until fish is tender.
  10. Dissolve cornflour in little water.
  11. Pour cornflour mixture into the pan.
  12. Stirring constantly.
  13. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  14. Take it out in a serving dish.
  15. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  16. Tomato Fish Curry is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve with boiled rice.
