Ingredients
  • 1 whole Chicken with skin
  • 4 Green chilies
  • ½ bunch Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 cup Flour
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 Plastic bag
Cooking Method
  1. Cut the chicken into 8 pieces, finely chop coriander leaves and green chilies.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces with chopped green chilies, chopped coriander, chili powder and salt to taste.
  3. Heat 1 cup milk in a wok, add in 2 – 3 tbsp flour and cook for 3-4 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  4. Add this white sauce to the chicken and mix well.
  5. Put the remaining flour in a plastic bag, add chicken pieces one by one to the beg, mix very well to coat the dry flour on chicken.
  6. Now deep fry the chicken for 12-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
  8. Delicious South African Fried Chicken is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve with ketchup.
