This Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe by Chef Samina Jalil is an easy and tasty super popular Pakistani dessert recipe made with grated carrot, khoya, milk and sugar.  Everyone's favorite winter dessert. Great taste and simple ingredients. A must try!

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 kg Carrot grated
  • 1 packet Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 200 gm Sugar
  • 250 gm Whole dried milk
  • Mix dry fruits as required
  • 3/4 cup Clarified butter
  • 2 Sterling Silver leaf
  • 6 Green cardamom
Cooking Method
  1. Add cream and milk in grated carrots and cook for 25 minutes or until carrots are softened.
  2. Now add dry milk powder then add sugar and cook until all water dries up.
  3. Heat clarified butter and add small cardamom.
  4. Add in to the carrot mixture and keep stirring until ghee comes on top.
  5. Add add half khoya and orange peel and cook for few more minutes.
  6. Take it out in a serving dish.
  7. Garnish it with khoya and mixed dry fruits.
  8. Top with silver paper.
  9. Gajar Ka Halwa is ready to serve.
  10. Serve hot.
