Ingredients
  • 20-25 small Rasgullas
  • 1-1/2 liters milk
  • few strands Saffron
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup khoya grated
  • 1 cup Fresh cream
  • 8-10 Pistachios blanched, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Almonds blanched and peeled
Cooking Method
  1. Bring the milk to a boil in a deep non stick pan.
  2. Lower the heat and let it simmer until milk reduces to half its original volume.
  3. Now add the saffron and sugar and cook for 5 minutes or until sugar dissolved.
  4. Add the khoya to thicken the milk.
  5. Squeeze the rasgullas to remove excess syrup and place them in a bowl.
  6. Pour the milk mixture over and set aside to cool.
  7. When completely cold, place in a refrigerator to chill.
  8. To serve, place a few chilled rasgullas in each bowl.
  9. Drizzle fresh cream.
  10. Sprinkle pistachios, almonds and pomegranate kernels on top.
  11. Quick Rasgulla Dessert is ready to serve.
  12. Serve immediately.
