Ingredients
  • ½ cup Screw pine
  • 1-1/2 kg Chicken
  • ½ kg Rice
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • 2 Onion
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp Black cumin
  • 1 tbsp Whole red chilies
  • 8 Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Food color soaked milk
  • ½ cup Clarified butter
  • 4-5 Mint
  • Green chilies as required
  • Black pepper as required
  • 1 lemon Lemon juice
Cooking Method
  1. Rinse chicken with water.
  2. Heat clarified butter in a pot over medium heat.
  3. Add chicken with all spices and cook on low flame.
  4. When water is dried out add yogurt cook for 5 minutes then add 2 cup of water keep for simmer.
  5. Boil rice in separate pot, add mint leaves, green chilies, black pepper and cumin.
  6. When rice is done sieve water.
  7. Layer rice in pan then layer chicken.
  8. Add food color, lemon juice and put on dum for 10 minutes or until rice is fluffed.
  9. Dish it out.
  10. Qormay Wali Chicken Biryani si ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve with yogurt raita.
