Ingredients
  • ½ kg Mutton
  • 100 gm Butter
  • 2 Onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • ½ tsp Nutmeg mace powder
  • 1 tsp Crushed cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Crushed coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Kewra
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Method
  1. Finely chop 2 onion and keep aside.
  2. Heat butter in a wok over medium, add red chili powder, coriander seeds and cumin seed.
  3. Sauté for a few seconds.
  4. Then add ginger garlic paste and mutton. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until its color is changed.
  5. Add chopped onion and cook well for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Now add coriander powder, turmeric, nutmeg mace powder, yogurt, salt and water.
  7. Cover and let it cook for 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
  8. Remove the lid, add kewra, fry well over high flame.
  9. Dish it out.
  10. Butter Mutton is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Naan and rice.
