  • 8 pieces Chicken
  • 2 tsp Meat tenderizer
  • 1-1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 4 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Cayenne chilli paste
  • 2 pinch Turmeric powder
  • ¾ tsp All spice powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Oil or clarified butter for frying
Ingredients For Gravy:
  • ½ cup Clarified butter
  • 1 tbsp Ginger finely cut
  • 8-10 Green chilies
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1-1/2 tsp Chaat masala
  • ¾ cup Yogurt
  • Salt to taste
  • Green coriander for garnish
Cooking Method
  1. Put all spices on chicken and marinate it overnight.
  2. Now heat oil or clarified butter in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry chicken in it until nicely browned.
  3. Then heat clarified butter, fry green chilies and remove from the oil.
  4. In the remaining clarified butter, add ginger garlic paste, salt and yogurt and saute gravy well.
  5. Now add fry chicken and cook in slow flame for 20-25 minutes or until chicken get tender.
  6. Then stir in the lemon juice, add fry green chilies and chaat masala.
  7. Let it simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  8. Dish it out and garnish with green coriander and ginger slices.
  9. Chargha Karahi is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Garlic Naan and raita.
