Ingredients
  • 1 kg Whole chicken
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp All spice powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 250 gm Thick yogurt
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Chaat masala
  • few drops Red food color
  • 2-3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Muslin cloth as required
Cooking Method
  1. Cut slits into the whole chicken.
  2. Marinate chicken with salt and 1 cup vinegar.
  3. Keep aside.
  4. Now deep fry the chicken till golden brown. Remove and keep aside.
  5. In a bowl, mix together thick yogurt, red food color, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, all spice powder and a little salt.
  6. Marinate fried chicken with the yogurt mixture.
  7. Now put in a steamer and cook for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked.
  8. Remove in a platter.
  9. Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice.
  10. Chinioti Steam Chicken is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Naan and salad.
