Ingredients
  • 250 gm Prawns
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 Cup Stock
  • 1/2 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp heaped Flour
  • 1 tbsp Chili sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White pepper
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Spring onion leaves finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic crushed
  • 3 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • oil for frying
Cooking Method
  1. Marinate prawns with salt, white pepper, soy sauce, corn flour, flour and egg.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  4. Deep fry prawns for 5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Remove from the oil and keep aside.
To Make the Sauce:
  1. Heat 1/4 cup oil over medium heat.
  2. Add crushed garlic, green chilies with 1/2 tsp salt, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, chili sauce and stock.
  3. Bring to a boil and add corn flour paste.
  4. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  5. Add fried prawns, garnish with spring onion leaves.
  6. Dish it out.
  7. Delicious Garlic Prawns are ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Garlic Rice.
