Ingredients
  • 2 cups Milk powder
  • 2 tsp Baking powder slightly heaped
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Melted ghee
  • 1 tsp Flour leveled
For Sugar Syrup:
  • 2 cups Sugar heaped
  • 3 cups Water
  • 4 Green cardamom crushed
  • 2-3 drops Orange color
Cooking Method
  1. In a bowl, mix together the milk powder, baking powder and flour.
  2. Gradually add the melted ghee and mix well.
  3. Then add eggs and mix well.
  4. Knead well and form it into a dough, the dough should be glossy.
  5. Immediately make small balls, ball should be nice and smooth.
  6. Heat ghee in a wok over medium heat.
  7. Add all the balls together and deep fry on very low flame, continue stirring very lightly till jamuns light golden.
  8. Meanwhile, prepare sugar syrup with sugar and water add orange color, cook till sugar dissolves and syrup slightly thick.
  9. Add the fried gulab jamuns to the syrup.
  10. Cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes on very low flame.
  11. Remove from the syrup and dish it out.
  12. Gulab jamun is ready to serve.
