  • 2 Cups hot Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Almonds sliced
  • 1 Cup Semolina
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 2 scoops Ice-cream
  • Desiccated coconut as required
  • Pistachios as required
  • Chocolate sauce as required
Cooking Method
  1. In hot milk, add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved & keep aside.
  2. Heat oil add butter and let it melt. Add almonds and stir fry for 1 minute & reserve 2 tbsp for garnishing.
  3. Add semolina, cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes or until light brown.
  4. Add cinnamon powder and mix.
  5. Now add sugar milk mixture, mix well.
  6. Bring it to a boil, cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  7. Let it cool down.
  8. In a cling film lined bowl add semolina halwa and set properly.
  9. Add a scoop of ice cream and cover with semolina halwa then flip on serving plate.
  10. Garnish with desiccated coconut, pistachios, fried almonds, chocolate sauce.
  11. Delicious Icy Halwa is ready to serve.
