Ingredients
  • 400 gm Chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 inch Ginger minced
  • 2 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
Ingredients For Sauce:
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp red chili sauce
Cooking Method
  1. Marinate the chicken with the garlic, ginger, soya sauce, black pepper powder, brown sugar, and vinegar for 30 minutes.
  2. Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 20 water.
  3. Put chicken cubes onto skewers.
  4. Do not discard the marinade.
  5. Preheat a grill pan.
  6. Brush with some oil, once the pan is nice and hot, place the chicken yakitori on it, and cook by turning their sides, ensuring the chicken is well cooked.
  7. Mix the corn flour with water in a bowl to make a slurry.
  8. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  9. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes or until it turns light brown.
  10. Add the remaining marinade, and the chili sauce and bring to a boil.
  11. Add the corn flour slurry and cook for 2 more minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  12. Once the sauce is thickened, turn off the flame.
  13. Adjust the seasonings.
  14. Transfer the sauce to a small bowl.
  15. To serve, transfer the chicken yakitori to a serving platter,
  16. Pour the sauce over it or in a bowl.
  17. Delicious Japanese Chicken Skewers are ready to serve.
