Ingredients
Ingredients For Onion Mixture:
  • 2 cups Onion sliced
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp Red chili powder
  • ½ tsp Carom seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 Green chili chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup Gram flour
  • ¼ cup Rice Flour
  • 5 tbsp Water
Other Ingredients:
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 3-4 Cheese cubes
Cooking Method
  1. In a bowl, combine onion, turmeric powder, red chili powder, carom seeds, ginger, green chili, salt and mix until well combined.
  2. Add gram flour, rice flour, water and make a thick batter.
  3. Dip the cheese cubes and coat well with the prepared batter.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  5. Deep fry the pakoras in hot oil for 7-8 minutes or until nicely browned and crispy.
  6. Remove from the oil and absorb on Kitchen paper.
  7. Drain off the excess oil.
  8. Cheesy Onion Pakoray are ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with Ketchup or green chutney.
