  • ½ kg Mutton
  • 2 Brown onion
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • 2-3 Green chilies
  • 2 Tomatoes boiled
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp All spice powder
  • 1 inch piece of Cinnamon
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup Oil
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and fry for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Remove brown onion and crush coarsely.
  4. Keep aside.
  5. In the remaining oil add ginger garlic paste and mutton.
  6. Fry for a few minutes or until meat change its color.
  7. Now add chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder and cumin powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Then add cinnamon stick, salt, yogurt and green chilies.
  9. Add 2 cups of water, cover and cook for 45 minutes or until mutton is tender.
  10. Remove the lid and let it simmer for another 5 minutes then sprinkle all spice powder and crushed brown onion on it.
  11. Now fry well on high flame till most of the water dries.
  12. Dish it out.
  13. Mutton Shorba is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions
