  • 500 gm undercut Beef cut into fillets
  • 1 cup White beans boiled
  • 1 medium piece Ginger chopped
  • 4 – 5 cloves Garlic chopped
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 – 3 Dry red chilies
  • 2 sticks Cinnamon
  • 250 gm Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 2 Tomatoes boiled
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 3 – 4 cloves
  • 2 Black cardamom
  • 1/4 bunch Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a wok over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Add the chopped ginger and garlic and beef fillet.
  4. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the meat no longer pink and all juices run clear.
  5. Now add boiled tomatoes, dry red chilies.
  6. Stir and cook for 2 minutes then add cinnamon, black cardamoms and cloves.
  7. Season with coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric, red chili powder and salt.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes then add yogurt with a little water, cover and cook for 20-30 minutes or until meat is tender.
  9. Now remove the lid.
  10. Add tomato paste, lemon juice, boiled white beans.
  11. Cook on very high flame for 5-6 minutes or until all water dries up.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  13. Take it out in a serving dish.
  14. Lobia Beef is ready to serve.
