This Masala Chana Curry Recipe by Abida Baloch , is a delicious & flavorful Pakistani Style curry made with boiled chickpeas in a spicy masala gravy. It can be served with boiled rice, naan or roti.

Ingredients
  • ½ kg White chickpeas boiled
  • 2 Onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 2 Black cardamom
  • 6-8 Cloves
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp All spice powder
  • 1-½ tsp Salt
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • ½ cup Yogurt
Cooking Method
  1. Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat.
  2. Saute onion and garlic in it.
  3. Now add mustard, black cardamom, cloves, black pepper, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder.
  4. Mix and fry 1 minute.
  5. Add Boiled Kabuli chickpeas and salt and cook 5 more minutes.
  6. Now add 4 glass water and cook on low flame and cook for 15 minutes.
  7. Then add yogurt and cook on high flame.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala powder over it.
  9. Dish it out.
  10. Masala Chana Curry is ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions

Serve hot with naan and salad.
